Palisade...
Joe, Damon, Halle, and I shared a tent, and all four of us ended up on what was supposed to be Joe's and mine air mattress. Halle had a hard time falling asleep due to it being so windy. She would see the leaves shadows blowing through the walls of the tent, and just wanted to "get them". The next morning, a big breakfast was cooked, along with more swimming. Joe was swimming with Damon, and nephews Kade and Conner. He was coming back to shore, dragging all three boys through the water, when he felt his wedding ring slipping off his finger, and then fall. I just heard him scream..."I lost my wedding ring". Funny thing is, on the 4th of July, I lost my wedding rings in my parents backyard as we were playing softball...lucky enough to find them 3 days later after searching on hands and knees through the whole back yard. Well, Joe, a couple of his uncles, and cousin-in-laws helped dive up and down up and down, searching for Joe's ring. After about 45 minutes of doing this in the murkey water, Joe kind of gave up. About ten minutes later, Joe's uncle Shawn yelled out.."I GOT IT". He had never given up, and even though every other guy had come to shore, Shawn kept on looking, and somehow found Joe's ring. THANKS SHAWN!
It was a fun, hot, successful family reunion. We had a blast...

Memory Tag....
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! You can post a memory about Kirstin or Joe...we would love all or any.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

The Summer is "Cruising" By.....
We have been having a pretty fun and relaxing summer just playing with our cousins lately. The other day we went down to the Mona park and had a picnic and played on the playground for a little bit. Afterwards, Damon's and Halle's cousins, Jack and Luke came over to play for the afternoon. The boys had a blast taking the 4-wheeler Power Wheels up and down the street. Jack is the oldest of the bunch, and he was the driver taking Damon, Luke, and all the little neighbor girls on rides, just cruising around like he owned the town. It was a fun time, and I appreciate Jack for being such a big help, and a great sport!

Mini Me's Mohawk
My Two Tiny Cowkids....
All's I have to say is that I have the two darn cutest cowboys in the world!
A nice stroll up Cascade Springs...
We stopped and walked all around the springs. Damon loved walking over the bridges and looking into the water. He would get a little mad when we would take a different route, and not go over every bridge.
It ended up being perfect weather and a great day. It was a little bit overcast which was nice, but I was still quite hot and sweaty after walking around. It was a great way to start out our day though. I love getting to do these simple things with my family. Thanks to Joe, Damon, and Halle for making the most simple things the best memories I could ask for.

A helpful two and a half year old...
The last day of the Anderson California Adventure...
Our final day of Disneyland started out with a train ride around the whole park. Damon is infatuated with trains these days, and screams "CHOO CHOO" everytime he sees one, so Joe and I figured we better at least take Damon on the train around Disneyland. After that, we devoted our last day to the kids, and spent all morning in Fantasy Land, riding all the rides that they can go on.
